Vacation Montana!

~ Montana Lodging At Its BEST ~

* *A Montana Christmas* *

Imagine that you and your family have just arrived outside

your Christmas holiday home. Snowflakes dance around your

car during a light snowfall. Shaggy carpets of snow surround

your home. Your children, excited by the sights, ask to be let

out of the car to play in the freshly fallen snow. You oblige

them, and you and your wife step out of the car to get a look

at where you will be staying over Christmas. You have only

just arrived but the two of you immediately know you are in

the right place. Your children are happy, and as you view your

surroundings you, too, are feeling happy inside and enchanted

by the sparkling winter scene. Like a cold drink, you feel what

you are breathing as your lungs become filled with the brash,

clean air. Snow hangs from the trees like torn white sheets and

piles on the roof like a thick white comforter. The mountains

towering nearby are dressed in enormous silky white gowns

and one of your children shrieks with delight as she spies a

line of deer walking across the snow-covered lake. And your

family hasn't even walked in the house yet! So, yeah, you and

your wife agree that this is good.

Approaching your holiday home, you are not quite sure what

to make of things. Are you hearing things or what? There is a

slight melody in the air, which is unexpected and you think

perhaps the car radio is still ringing in your ears. But the

melody gets louder as you get closer to your home and it is

becoming increasingly difficult to deny that something

interesting is going on. As you open the door to your holiday

home, you realize that your home is saying hello to you first by

singing you Christmas carols from your living room stereo.

Nice touch, you think. And your nose is aroused by a distinct

scent of pine. Not from a spray can or floor wash but clean,

pure, and fresh like the real thing. Exploring your home, you

and your family walk into your living room to discover a tall,

robust, freshly cut Christmas tree awaiting your arrival. There

it stands, grand and proud, against a view of snowcast

trees and snowy mountains. Moved by this swirl of sights,

sounds, and scents, your hearts expand as you all suddenly

realize that this IS the real thing. It surely is. Your a family

together at Christmas, and you feel it!

Welcome to Christmas in Montana

May your spirits soar this holiday season

* *One Morning* *

One snowy morning I arose

To find a Christmas Village

All decked out in Christmas clothes

So dramatically changed from the night before

I marveled at this work of love

By so many special people

Possessed of the Christmas Spirit
