Through our own efforts to develop a Montana photo gallery, we have great
respect for all those brave souls who have endeavored to create
photo galleries of the lands they live on. Much more than taking
some snapshots and "putting them on the 'Net", we
learned that developing a photo gallery takes lots of thought,
labor, organization, and--more than anything else--artistic
vision and deep love for what is photographed. Vision and love
give life to a photo gallery, taking it beyond a mere collection of photos to establishing a connection between the viewer and the
unique expressions of Nature framed by the person taking the
pictures. From collection to connection, it is that person's
artistic vision, and love for what is seen through a lens, that
ultimately makes viewing a photo gallery a
personal experience.
These links (just four
for right now, but a GREAT start!) are a tribute to all those persons from around the world who with their cameras shake our hands, invite
us into intimate heart-felt areas of their lives, and share with
us visions of lands they call home.
